  • What’s Your Story?

Let’s look at the following passage from 1 John:

“Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:10-12.

What an amazing testimony we have! Believing that Jesus is the Son of God, we have been given eternal life in Christ Jesus.  Saved from sin and death, we are brought into the light of Jesus.  If we all have this testimony - and we do, then what are we doing with it!  Testimony is a part of worship just as is song, prayer, and Scripture.  So today, worship God through rejoicing in the testimony we have.  Share your testimony, and let it write the pages of your life story.  Every single one of us is in the process of writing a story. Some just opened the cover, others are thick into the plot.  So I want to encourage and challenge you today, with the idea of our great testimony in mind, what does your story look like? How is the plot going to conclude and end? Rest in the Hand of our Savior today, reflecting on our testimony in Him, and let Jesus write your story for today, and for all days to come. It will be the best story anyone could read.

This is my story, this is my song.
I’m praising my Savior all the day long.
