Focus on Heaven

Let’s Look at Matthew 6:20-21:
“But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
We all are probably familiar with this passage. Where our treasure is, there is our heart - our desires. Making investments daily in the kingdom of God, choosing that which has eternal value over the simple pleasures of life - this will translate into our treasure in Heaven, our reward - Jesus. So if our heart is fixed upon the things of heaven, then we will see more of the supernatural in our daily life. Psalm 37:4 states:
“Delight yourself in Him, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
If in fact the desire of our heart is affixed on the Kingdom of God and Jesus and King, then He will bless us with more of Himself! This will be the response to that desire. Living with more of Jesus, more of His presence, more of God’s Kingdom here on earth is the exact definition of living in the world but not being of it because we belong to a Kingdom that lasts forever [John 17:13-16]. A Kingdom that we can live in daily here on earth - by laying our treasures there, and desiring more of Jesus. Let’s all push to live with that focus - and we will see the atmosphere of our lives change and see Jesus lifted higher - Revival is easy when heaven is our focus!!
