2 Chronicles 32:7 and 8 states:
 
“Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria nor because of all the horde that is with him; for the One with us is greater than the one with him.  With him is only an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles. and the people relied on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.”
 
God is with us no matter where we go.  I love the words in this passage - do not fear. Simply do not fear because God is on our side - who then can be against us?! (Romans 8:31)  This Scripture goes on to say that God is with us to help us - He can fight our battles.  No matter what we are up against, we have victory in Jesus.  He is our Deliverer, a help at all times. 
 
And one small word that appears at the end of this passage is crucial to the entire message - the people relied on these words.  They found their strength in knowing God is more than capable to see us through anything - He is bigger than anything that comes across our path - He is bigger than anything impossible - nothing is too difficult for Him!
 
So let this be a challenge to us - are we relying on Word of God, that God is our help, and fights for us?  Wait upon the Lord, and rely on His strength - He will carry us through!
