The Mind of Christ

1 Corinthians 2:15-16 states:
“Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others. For, ‘who can know the Lord’s thought? Who knows enough to teach him?’ But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.”
Think about this passage: we have the mind of Christ.
Now, don’t let your mind go crazy thinking about this! It is a truly remarkable concept, that we in fact have the mind of Christ. We really do! It’s brought to us through the Holy Spirit. Because the same Spirit that rose Jesus from the grave dwells within us, we have the capacity to spiritually discern as Jesus did. This brings us freedom - freedom from the world’s way of thinking and scrutinizing, seeing things as Jesus does.
Each and everyone of us are striving to be like Jesus. Taking on the concept that we can think like Him fits perfectly then, right?! Living with this mindset will change things. It will change everything! Seeking the guidance of Holy Spirits to open our mind and see things as Jesus does transforms (renews - see Romans 12:2) our thoughts and actions from this world to the supernatural.
Romans 8:5-6 states:
“Those who are dominated by the sinful nature thinks about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.”
By submitting our minds to the Holy Spirit, we will find life and peace. Jesus was filled with life - He even states that He brings life, abundant life. And His Spirit is the Comforter -bringing peace. Walking daily with a mindset fixed by Holy Spirit, seeing as Jesus did - we can operate just the same. Watch yourself become transformed as you think, act, and walk as Jesus did. It will be amazing, and the glory of God will be with you, and people won’t be able to help but realize something is different, something is better, something beyond this world: we have the mind of Christ.
